1. Eligibility for Returns
- Timeframe: Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original invoice date.
- Condition: Items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition, in their original unopened packaging.
- Authorization: All returns require a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number prior to shipping. Returns received without an RGA will be refused.
2. Non-Returnable Items ("Final Sale")As a specialized manufacturer, certain products are ineligible for return:
- Custom Orders: Any accessories custom-machined or engineered to your specific project requirements.
- Specialty Lifting Devices: Due to safety and certification standards, certain lifting clutches, swivel plates, and high-capacity anchors are non-returnable once they leave our facility.
- Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, chemicals, or colorants.
3. Restocking FeesTo cover the costs of handling, inspection, and administrative processing, a restocking fee will apply to all approved returns of stock items:
- Standard Stock Items: Subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Special Orders: May be subject to up to a 30% restocking fee at OCS discretion.
- Fee Waiver: Restocking fees are waived ONLY if the return is due to an OCS shipping error or a documented manufacturing defect.
4. Shipping Costs
- Buyer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return shipping and freight charges, which must be prepaid.
- Non-Refundable: Original outbound shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- Free Freight Deduction: If the original order qualified for free freight, the actual outbound shipping cost incurred by OCS will be deducted from the final refund amount.
5. Damaged or Defective Goods
- Reporting: Shortages or items damaged during transit must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.
- Freight Damage: For large freight shipments, any visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at the time of delivery.
- Resolution: OCS will, at its sole discretion, either replace the defective part or issue a credit for the purchase price.
6. Refund Process
- Inspection: Once your return is received at one of our hubs (MO, CA, TX, or OH), it will undergo a technical inspection for quality and safety compliance.
- Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method or applied as a store credit to your account within 7–10 business days.

Q: Who is responsible for return shipping costs?
A: Customer covers return shipping for standard returns, and freight cost will be deducted from your refund. If the return is caused by manufacturing defect or OCS shipping error, verified cases will be covered by OCS.
Q: How long will it take to receive my refund?
A: Refund will be processed within 7 business days after inspection approval. The maximum time for funds to reach your account is 10 business days.
